Consultation Policy for Appointments with Our Plastic Surgeons
At our practice, our patients are our top priority. We understand that situations may arise which require you to reschedule, postpone, or cancel your consultation. Please know that each appointment is reserved exclusively for you—and that same time could be valuable to another patient awaiting care.
To help us maintain a smooth and accessible schedule for all, we’ve implemented the following consultation policy:
Credit Card Requirement
- A valid credit card is required at the time of booking to secure your consultation appointment.
- All credit card information is handled through a secure, HIPAA-compliant system to ensure your data remains protected.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
- Appointment changes or cancellations must be made at least 3 business days in advance.
- Cancellations made with less than 3 business days’ notice, or failure to attend your appointment, will result in a $100 cancellation fee charged to your card on file.
- Patients with repeated missed appointments or policy violations may be subject to discharge from the practice at management’s discretion.

Acqua Blu Medical Spa Policies
In an effort to stay on time and provide optimal access to all of our patients, we have implemented the following cancellation policy:
When an appointment is missed or canceled without sufficient notice, we are unable to offer that time to another patient—many of whom are on a waiting list for care. To help us minimize disruptions and better serve everyone, we kindly ask that all new and established patients provide a credit card on file at the time of booking. All credit card information is securely stored using encrypted, HIPAA-compliant systems.
Appointments with Acqua Blu Providers
- Cancellations made less than 3 business days in advance or no-shows will result in a $150 cancellation fee.
- Patients with two or more late cancellations or no-shows may be required to prepay the full service fee to schedule future appointments, at management’s discretion.
- Repeated missed appointments or non-compliance with our policy may lead to discharge from the practice.
Reminders & Courtesy Notices
We understand that life happens and plans may change. While we are sympathetic to occasional emergencies, our experience shows most missed appointments are not due to urgent matters.
As a courtesy, we send text reminders 2 weeks, 7 days, and 3 days prior to your appointment. If you're unable to keep your appointment, please notify us as early as possible. Your cancellation allows us to offer that time to another patient in need.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation. These policies help us maintain a high standard of care and accessibility for all of our valued clients.
Late Arrival
We suggest arriving 5-10 minutes prior to your appointment time to allow time to complete paperwork or answer questions about your service you may have. We understand that issues can arise that may cause you to be late for your appointment. However, we ask that you call to inform us if that ever occurs, so we can do our best to accommodate you. Appointment times are reserved for each client, so oftentimes we cannot exceed that reserved time. If you arrive more than 10 minutes late for your appointment time, your appointment may be shortened or cancelled if there is not enough time to complete the procedure.
Refund Policy
At Acqua Blu Medical Spa we work with each client to discuss treatment objectives and review likely outcomes, benefits and risks associated with each treatment. We offer individual treatment as well as significantly discounted treatment package options so each client may choose the approach that is best suited for their needs and budget.
Acqua Blu Medical Spa treatments sold individually or sold in a package of treatments are nonrefundable and nontransferable. All treatments once performed are final, refunds or credits cannot be offered.
For skincare products, all sales are final, however, should you have a skin reaction to one of the products, the product can be returned for a spa credit within 7 days of purchase.
We do not accept personal checks for any services at Acqua Blu Medical Spa including laser treatments, medical facials, and all injectable treatments.
We will be honest in all our dealings with you. Aesthetics is not an exact science and how you may respond to a given treatment will vary from person to person. It is virtually impossible to predict results and therefore payments made for services are for treatments to be performed -- not for a specific result. However, we always strive to achieve the absolute best result that we can for you.
