Restylane Silk
For patients who want fuller lips with a better shape and structure, Restylane Silk is a new and effective option. Like other areas of the face, the lips and skin surrounding the mouth show signs of aging as an individual ages. This often results in lips thinning, lost shape and an increase in vertical lines above the lip. This product is very similar to other members of the Restylane family that we all know and love, except that Restylane Silk is a much finer formulation with a very smooth consistency, making it perfect for improving more superficial fine lines and adding subtle improvement to the lips.
What Is Restylane Silk?
Restylane is a hyaluronic acid filler (meaning it is made of a material naturally occurring in the body with a long track record of safety when used as a lip filler. Most patients will see good results with one treatment session, but some may choose to plan for a touch up at about 2 or 3 weeks after the first session. Results are expected to last about 6 months.
