Final Two Days Prior to My Plastic Surgery
With only two days to go, I’m finally able to put 100% of my thoughts towards my plastic surgery. I’ve been planning a get-together with my friends, which took place Saturday night, so I’ve been a bit distracted. My topic of thought for today is my kids. I can’t believe I haven’t put an ounce of thought into how to prepare them for my week or two of downtime. When my girlfriend asked me what I told the boys-I was dumbfounded! Let’s face it, two young, energetic boys need to know in advance that they can’t use mommy like a trampoline for a while. Snuggle time may have to be modified a bit. Any suggestions? I had my wisdom teeth removed a year ago and was down for a day or so, but this is different.
I finally found a great spot to drop off my bras! It’s called Treasure House Fashions. I’m going to ask my husband to do this while I’m in surgery. They are located just a few miles south of our Wexford Ambulatory Surgery Center. I got their information off the Greater Pittsburgh Woman’s Shelter website. They have different options for where the bras are sent and it is typically sent to a third world country. The best part of my donation is that the Greater Pittsburgh Women’s Shelter will receive a ‘credit voucher’ for their clients to go and shop. Win-win!
