Board-certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, Dr. Heil has received various awards and accolades throughout his career. Previously, he was named “Top Beauty Doctor” by New Beauty Magazine two years in a row. He has now received the award of TOP DOCTOR Plastic Surgery for 2023 from Castle Connolly, a highly revered resource for quality health care.
A member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery, and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Dr. Heil’s expertise in the field of plastic surgery and cosmetology enable him to achieve remarkable results with every procedure.
After graduating from Saint Vincent College Summa Cum Laude and receiving his Bachelor of Arts in Organic Chemistry and Bachelor of Science in Organismal Biology,
He went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine Cum Laude (Alpha Omega Alpha) from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. After that, he completed a five-year integrated residency training program in General Surgery and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and a fellowship in Micro Surgery and Thrombosis Research from the University Medical Center of Pittsburgh, one of the most coveted plastic surgery training programs in the country.
Beyond his lengthy educational background and demonstrated skills, Dr. Heil is known for the empathy he has for his patients.
