We ask that you arrange for someone to drive you home the day of the surgery and stay with you for several days thereafter, so as to ensure that you do not face any major complications. Before your surgery, you should also pick out a wardrobe of loose button-down clothing for the weeks while you are recovering, and have your prescriptions filled and in an easily-available location.
