It just so happens that our monthly wine club falls eight days after my surgery. And you know what? I wouldn’t miss it for the world! I’m going to have to make some ‘modifications’, but I’m determined to make this work!<\/p>\n

\"wineI spent most of Thursday laying around. I needed to save all my energy for a night in with the girls. Plus, I was still a bit swollen from my three work days. I got a shower and was ready to go by 7:00. Tonight is Pinot Grigio night. I’m pretty sure Dr. Heil would not approve, so I’m not telling him.<\/p>\n

I’ve been following all of the rules up to this point, but I am long overdue for a night with the girls. I drank water for the night (modification), but still taste tested the seven wines so I could vote. It was a great night full of food. Brownies are my weakness, so I only had two (modification). I stayed til 10:45 pm (modification), since I was exhausted. Although my wine didn’t win, It was a great night catching up with my favorite girls. I’m so happy with my progress this far!
