A Kinder, Gentler Approach

Good news! The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved the long-awaited dermal filler Perlane for the treatment of facial folds and wrinkles. And it's available here at Premier.

Like Restylane, Perlane is a dermal filler made from hyaluronic acid. Perlane, however, is made up of a larger and thicker gel particle than Restylane, making it better suited for treating deeper layers of the skin - and filling in moderate to severe wrinkles and folds that Restylane can't.

Perlane is particularly effective in correcting the wrinkles and folds from the nose to the corners of your month (nasolabial folds). It's also a great choice for adding volume to the lips.

The procedure itself takes about 45 minutes to an hour. You may have to wear a compression garment right after the procedure to minimize swelling. This also helps the body settle into its new shape.
